The observation bunker
At Egypt farm in the Parish of Trinity region of Jersy in the United Kingdom stand a lonely two story observation post designated by the German Army as M5. The M stands for Mefistelle and means range finding position. The north side of Jersey cliffs sore high above the coastline instead of beaches so an invasion force was not expected at these coasts. Smal observations posts, with or without gun support was spread out over the north side of the isle.
Command raids did happen at these coasts, like the Hard Tack landing just below the M5 observation post.
