During World War Two, both the Axis and Allied forces relied heavily upon trains and locomotives for fast transportation of troops, weapons, supplies and (heavy) equipment to their front-lines. The effectiveness and speed of an Army’s logistic system proved a key ingredient of it’s success. This also made trains, locomotives and railway tracks an important target for the enemy.
After the war the surviving trains and locomotives eventually found their way into museums and private collections.

This is a collection of all our Allied and Axis WW2 trains and locomotives and other related items like engines, railcars, etc. that we have encountered over the years.
