Baufortschrittskarte is a German term meaning “construction progress map” or “construction status map.” In a World War II context, it referred to detailed maps used by German military or engineering units to visually track the progress of infrastructure or fortification projects, such as bunkers, airfields, Atlantic Wall defenses, or underground facilities.

These maps were typically annotated with dates, construction phases, responsible units, and materials used. Baufortschrittskarten were essential tools for logistical planning, resource allocation, and reporting to higher commands such as the Organisation Todt or Wehrmacht engineering corps. They provided a structured overview of complex construction efforts across occupied territories.
