Operation Nordwind

Our set of WW2 articles and objects related to the German Operation Nordwind. Unternehmen Nordwind was the last major German offensive on the western front. It started on 31 December 1944 south of the Battle for the Bulge and ended on 25 January 1945. The fighting took place on the French – German border in the Rhineland-Palatinate, Alsace and Lorraine region.
