The Jewish and Foreign Cemetery
A small part of the main cemetery in Dortmund is for the Jewish and foreign forced labourers. It lies next to the main cemetery but is part of it. Besides Jewish souls there are victims of the Nazi regime from all kinds of Nationalities. Some died due to bombardments while performing forced labour in or near Dortmund. Others died due to mistreatment or were killed in Concentration camps.

There are 5.095 Soviet victims and a memorial pillar for these men. There are 243 Polish with their names on a remembrance wall. 106 Yugoslavs, 30 men from Belgium, 15 Dutchmen, 7 Italians, 14 Frenchmen, and 188 others next to the Jewish victims. The cemetery is still in use by the Jewish community. The German fallen lie at the Main Cemetery on the other side of the road in the Hauptfriedhof Dortmund.
