At the end of the Seaton beach near Seaton Harbour is a pillbox with an adjacent gun platform. Both are part of the Taunton stopline. The gun platform is transformed into a lookout and rest for beach visitors.

The pillbox has a rectangle shape and is overgrown. A sign tells you that this was a coastal artillery beach battery. The pillbox door and embrasure are blocked, sealed up. The gun emplacement is in front of the pillbox.

Visit
Follow the walkway from the harbor towards the beach, at the end of the canal you will find the lookout post and the pillbox behind it.
