The WW2 Select Early Warning System was a vision, sound or radar-based detection system to find enemy movement in the air or sea. From binoculars to concrete listening shells, and from futuristic looking listening devices to state of the art radar technology. Both sides had their own tactics and layered system to detect naval or aerial movement of the enemy.
