Wilhelm Keitel was a German field marshal and senior military officer during World War II, serving as head of the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht (OKW), the German High Command. Keitel was a close advisor to Adolf Hitler and played a key role in military decisions throughout the war, often aligning with Nazi policies.
