
The Memorial Museum of Omaha Beach is located at the D-Day landing beach in Normandy code named “Omaha”. The beach and villages behind were taken by American troops after heavy fighting during operation Overlord, the invasion of France was on 6 june 1944.
This museums has many items on display from the battle.
