This is a M4A4 Sherman tank fitted with a short barrel 75mm gun. The additional “T” designation stands for “Transforme” (French for modified) and means it was modified and used after World War Two by the French Army.
The tank has extra armored plates welded on it’s hull to protect the co-drivers position, the driver position and the ammo storage racks.
