The 17-pdr, Valentine, Mk I, Archer was a British World War II self-propelled anti-tank vehicle. It mounted a powerful 17-pounder gun on a modified Valentine tank chassis, facing rearward. Designed for ambush tactics, it provided strong anti-tank capabilities, despite light armor and an unconventional layout. Produced from 1943–1945.
