Many flew with the Royal Air Force, taking part in the Battle of Britain, Bomber Command raids, and operations in the Mediterranean. In the Pacific, the RNZAF operated aircraft such as the Hudson, Kittyhawk, and Corsair, conducting maritime patrols, ground attacks, and air support for Allied island campaigns.
