Park Pobedy – Victory Park
Like many bigger towns in Russia the Second World War or Great Patriotic War as they revere to it, are Victory Parks where you find memorials, probably some guns or armoured vehicles and the names of the fallen.
So is the case in Kurgan, Siberia. Here they have a park dedicated to the victims who fell while Russia was at war. It could be that these Victory Park are updated in time with memorials from Afghanistan and memorials for Chechnya.

The park is always open if you fancy a nice little walk.
