Kwk stand – Widerstandsnest 82, Wn 82 – Grandcamp-Maisy, France
Widerstandsnest number 82 “Le Casino” is located at the former Normandy Landings beach Omaha, situated between the Baie des Veys to the west and the port of Grandcamp Maisy to the east.
It is a smaller resistance point consisting of a Tobruk for a tank turret, two separate Tobruk bunkers, one Tobruk 58c for MG and a Tobruk 69c for a 5 cm and 8 cm mortar. One double Vf KwK 5 bunker “Doppelschartenstand” for a 5 cm KwK anti-tank gun and a kitchen/canteen.

In 2014 the bunkers were open but not maintained. We stopped here after our visit to the Coastal Battery Maisy.
