Opposite of the small waterway from Widerstandsnest Albert Pier in the harbor mouth of St Helier, Jersey, is this Widerstandsnest Victoria Pier. It has a unique bunker, a Regelbau 631, which had a 4,7 cm PaK K36 (t) gun together with a machine gun to defend the access to the harbor against Allied attacks during World War Two.
What makes this German bunker unique is that it is combined with a Luftwaffe bunker type L401. The L401 was a bunker developed for a 8.8 Flak gun or a 10,5 cm flak gun, yet on the Victoria Pier it was used for a 2 cm Flakvierling gun. This is a quadruple barreled anti-aircraft gun.

After the war a harbor control tower was built on top of the bunker.
