Another version of the 8 ton German Halftrack Sd.Kfz.7 is the armored halftreack with a 3.7 cm flak gun, designated Sd.Kfz. 7/2. This version was equipped with an 3,7 cm Flak 36 anti-aircraft gun. The 1550 kilogram gun had a firing range of almost 8000 meters but an effective range of 4200 meters. The Kraus-Maffei Halftrack had 8 mm armor on the driver cabine and engine cover or came with an open driver cabine.
