The F-Stands are small bunkers on the Atlantic Wall. They are 6,30 meters wide, and 6,10 meters long without their defensive wall, with a height of 3,24 meters.
They are placed below the dunes as a first defence, next to minefields, barbed wire defences, anti tank obstacles and more. Mainly placed to defend the opening, close the gap, between two strongpoints. For example between the coastal batteries M.K.B. 2./15 Marine Küstenbatterie Gneisenau and Stützpunkt H.K.B. 8./180 Vesterhavsbad on the island of Fanø in Denmark.
The F-Stand is a small flanking machine gun casemate which is exclusively built in Denmark in various versions and therefore it is assumed that it is a Danish bunker.
Visit
The can be found between the coastal gun batteries M.K.B. 2./815 Marine Küstenbatterie Gneisenau and Stützpunkt H.K.B. 8./180 Vesterhavsbad at the foot of the dunnes. There is no road to it, you have to walk through the dunes and/ or cross the beach. The Danes drive their cars on the beach, we have no experience with it.
