German War Graves Eichholzfriedhof – Arnsberg, Germany

The Eichholzfriedhof cemetery in Arnsberg holds the remains of 233 German casualties who fell in battle during the Second World War. The burial area is divided by a path running alongside the graves, leading to a memorial wall at the far end of the site. The wall bears additional plaques listing the names of fallen and missing soldiers.

At some point in history, there were more plaques bearing names on the memorial wall. As can be seen in the photograph, all the names on the left side of the cross are missing
