The German troops of Fortress Prinz Regent Luitpold, later called Group Fortification Yser by the French troops, made themselves welcome in the fort’s gray bunkers and brick buildings with wall decorations. And they were quite talented and humorous in this. They share a piece of history, a time capsule of life back then. The murals created are more than 100 years old.
