This light anti-aircraft gun was used during World War Two by the Imperial Japanese Army. It consisted of two Type 98 Japanese 20 mm Light Anti-Aircraft Cannons combined on one gun mount. This setup was built 500 times during the war by the Kokura Army Arsenal factory in Kokura City.
Technical Specification
Technically it was identical to the Type 98 Japanese 20 mm Light Anti-Aircraft Cannon. It had the same range of 5,5 kilometers horizontally and 3,5 km ceiling height. Identical 20 mm projectiles and 20 round box magazines were used. It just had twice the amount of firing rate,maximum 600 rounds per minute instead of the 300 for a single cannon, practical 240 instead of 120 rounds.
