The Turmzielfernrohr T.Z.F. 6 was a monocular telescopic sight specifically designed for the requirements of the 2 cm KwK 30 and 2 cm KwK 38, and 7.92 mm MG 34 Machine Guns. It enabled the gunner to accurately operate both the 2 cm cannon and the machine gun. The 2.4x magnification and wide 22° field of view contributed to rapid target acquisition and engagement. Literally Turmzielfernrohr means turret target binoculars.
The German Wehrmanch developed targeting binoculars for their turrets of their reconnaissance vehicles and other armored vehicles who used the 2 cm KwK. 30 and 38, and 7.92 mm MG 34 guns. These targeting binoculars were used in the Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 234/2 and the eight wheeled Sd.Kfz. 231 reconnaissance vehicle and in the light reconnaissance tank Sd.Kfz. 123 – Luchs Reconnaissance Tank.

This Turmzielfernrohr TZF 6 was made between 1941 and 1945 by the Fa, Ernst Leitz company from Wetzlar. It weighed 10.9 kilograms.Its dimensions are: Length 73.5 cm, width 18 cm, thickness 14 cm and a diameter of 6.5 cm Graduates from 0 to 12 in the telescope, magnification adjustment from 0x to 5x by rotating the graduated sleeve.
