Panzerjäger Panther – Sd.Kfz. 173 – Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer. This tank destroyer is based on the Panzerkampfwagen V – Panther. The cupola with the 7.5 cm gun was removed and replaced by a one piece 8.8 cm Pak 43/3 L/71 gun or a 8.8 cm two-piece KwK 43/4 L/71 depending on a early or late version of the Jagdpanther. The 8.8 cm guns is similar to the Panzerkampfwagen VI ausf. B – the Konigstiger / King Tiger.
